I have the pleasure of visiting all sorts of venues, hotels, Inns and such and have now found my favorite! It is Fleur-de-Lys Mansion! It is big and beautiful, full of unique furniture and rich in history. It's a mansion, yet still welcoming. The Inn keepers are extremely wonderful and great hosts. They even offer on location weddings! So if you have your wedding there, I could have the pleasure of seeing this stunning location again! (hint, hint) Check out thier website. It's an experience not to be forgotten!

It has been a busy last few months with all my weddings. They are always a good time! I get to meet cool people from all over and get to be apart of thier traditions and big day. I see many differant traditions that are very cool and differant. One of my favorites was a bride that had everyone write well wishes on the bottom of her shoes before heading down the isle. Or the bride the other day that did a book of private pictures for her husband to be to give him before the ceremony. Email me with any differant traditions you have seen or heard of, I would love to hear about them.

It's important to make sure you have an emergency bag of goodies on hand at all times on your big day! Bobby pins, lipstick, safety pins, clear polish, hair spray, phone numbers of service providers, double sided tape, nail file and all the essentials.

It is such a unique experience to be able to be a part of a bride's wedding day! I have the pleasure of meeting the family and friends, do hair and makeup, take pictures, help set the head piece just right. It's truely fun to be in the hustle and bustle of the day. I've been a part of many toasts, helped zip dresses, strap shoes and have made friends along the way. I get to be apart of the excitement and gossip, the traditions, gift exchanges, been invited to parties and have seen the first moments of brides and grooms seeing each other for the first time.
